Summer is just around the corner, and if you’re a kid who loves mountain biking, you’re in for a treat! There are six awesome mountain biking camps happening this summer in Lake Tahoe and Reno, and they’re perfect for kids aged 6 to 12 who are beginner to intermediate riders.
The camps are called Tahoe Trail Thrashers and Reno Rocket Riders, and they’re led by an experienced and certified ICP level 3 coach. This means you’ll be learning from someone who really knows their stuff and can help you become a better rider.
Each camp is one week long, and there are a couple of different weeks to choose from. Here are the dates:

So, what can you expect from these camps? First of all, you’ll be spending a lot of time on your bike! You’ll learn the basics of mountain biking, like how to balance, shift gears, and brake. You’ll also learn more advanced skills like cornering, jumping, and riding technical terrain.

During the camps, you will also learn about bike safety, including the importance of wearing proper gear such as helmets, elbow and knee pads, and gloves. You will learn about proper bike maintenance, like how to clean your bike and make minor repairs. This will help you take care of your bike and make it last longer.
