Kids MTB Coaching
Mountain Bike Coaching for Kids in Lake Tahoe & Reno.
Mountain Biking is very appealing to kids, it’s physically & mentally challenging, gets them outside into nature, & let’s face it, mountain biking is just a cool sport!
So what do you do when your child wants to learn to ride a mountain bike or improve their mountain bike skills? It seems too scary/dangerous/difficult right? Well, as with any other sport, the best advice is to turn to a Professional Coach.
I am very experienced with coaching child and youth mountain bikers & helping them to progress their mountain bike skills in a safe & repeatable way. I am an ICP Level 3 Certified Mountain Bike Coach (the highest offered) and I am Wilderness First Responder Certified.
I know that as a parent your time and resources can be limited so I offer great value Private Mountain Bike Coaching Sessions so your child or youth mountain biker (age 6 to 12) can improve their riding quickly.
I offer discount for repeat custom.
If you have more than one child, take advantage of my Kids Group Mountain Bike Coaching which offers the same great coaching at a lower hourly rate for groups of 2 to 6 youth mountain bikers.

My boys have been coached by Ronnie for a few years and he never disappoints. The progression we have seen under his coaching has been second to none. Ronnie took our green mtb'er and turned him into a top ten DH racing finisher. The boys love him, he makes every session fun and he know just how far to push your child to get the most out of their riding.
Ronnie has worked my 10 year old son over the past month and the progress has been tremendous. My son LOVES riding with him and is learning so much - Ronnie is an outstanding coach, super positive, supportive and pushes just enough so my son develops confidence and continues to progress.
Ronnie is very thoughtful in his approach and works to connect with each kid at not only their skill level, but also their interest level. He is super safety conscious which I’m very thankful for in ensuring our kids are taught how to ride responsibly. We will for sure be doing more lessons with Ronnie. Great coach and all around great guy you can trust!
