During our camp, little (and big) rocketeers will learn how to ride their bikes on grass, dirt, rocks and mountain trails in a fun and supportive environment. This five-day curriculum focuses on bike control skills and confidence building. Students will work with each other and the instructor to push their skills outside of their comfort zone so they can have a blast and pedal away with new found confidence!
We teach age appropriate trail etiquette, as well as specific instruction for beginners and more advanced riders.
Whether you are a confident rider or an average kid with no background in biking, we can guarantee you have an unforgettable experience at Reno Rocket Riders kids summer mountain bike camp!
Our kids summer MTB camps are a FIVE DAY fundamentals course (10am-4pm) covering all the basics needed to shred your bike. We will be playing games and doing drills you can practice at home.
Each camp, your little shredder will receive professional coaching, life skills, meet new friends, learn how to work on the bike and how to handle hard trail situations with multiple options. At the end of camp each participant will receive a shredders diploma, gifts, goodies and the joy of experiencing the great outdoors as they should be. I stand by my camps and I know your child will learn and enjoy themselves at the same time. Let’s get it.
Participants (riders) must be able to ride standing up for 300+ feet and be able to ride uphill. We do not “teach kids how to ride a bike”, we develop mountain bike skills in kids and adults who can already ride a bike.
Don’t miss this great chance to ride some really awesome trails with new friends in beautiful Reno this summer!
Registration closes two weeks before camp.
We need to have 5 riders participating to host each RAD CAMP. Why not get a group of friends together and get sendy with us? 50% deposit secures your spot!
Dependent Care FSA receipts are available on request for these camps.
Please note that we do not provide bikes or equipment.
Ronnie works to ensure the kids are responsible riders, teaches them the importance of being prepared out on the trails, and shares his love for the sport that all culminates in such a fun adventure! We will definitely be riding with Ronnie again!
Ronnie put together a great customized camp for under 12's. Almost all mountain bike camps are over 12, so we decided to work with Ronnie to set up a private session. 6 kids signed up and had an amazing time honing their mountain bike skills and have a great time. Lots of fun in nature, great rides and being able to hang with their buddies, make new buddies and support each other on the trails! My daughter LOVED every minute of it!
I first met Ronnie last year in the local Office Boss and was so impressed by his passion for teaching kids to mountain bike and just have a great time. I signed my son up for a private and then this year he did a full week of Ronnie's Battle Born Prodigies Tahoe Trail Thrashers camp and he had the best time in both and even came home with some tips for his mom. :) Ronnie is great with kids and we kept saying that these kids were "living their best lives" all week at camp. Highly recommend!
